Born from practice

StatementBridge is a product of FIDURO B.V., an accounting and advisory firm based in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. FIDURO handles the financial administration for hundreds of businesses — from freelancers to mid-sized companies with international operations.

In our daily practice, we kept running into the same problem: bank statements that weren’t delivered in the right format. Credit card companies like AMEX and ICS deliver CSV files, PayPal exports in its own format, Stripe and Mollie have their own structure — and accounting software like Exact Online, Twinfield and AFAS only accept MT940 or CAMT.053.

Manually converting and importing these files cost us hours every week. Existing tools were too limited, too expensive or too complex. So we built our own internal tool.

From internal tool to SaaS

What started as a simple script grew into a full web application. Fellow bookkeepers and accountants asked if they could use it too. In 2025, we decided to make the tool available as a SaaS solution: StatementBridge.

Today, StatementBridge converts bank statements between 9 formats, supports AI extraction from PDF files, and has more than 500 registered accounts.

Our principles

• The source file is deleted no later than 1 hour(s) after upload; if an interruption leaves it behind, automatic clean-up removes it, usually within 25 hours. Export files contain transaction data and can be downloaded for up to 24 hours; they are removed at the next clean-up after that. Conversion metadata and account details you save are retained. Files you e-mail to us yourself, for example with a support question, stay in our support mailbox until we delete them; please do not attach complete statements. Connections use HTTPS; the application and database run in Frankfurt. An AI scan sends the PDF content to the AI provider.
• Simplicity. Upload, review, download. No complex configuration, no months-long implementation.
• Reliability. Output files are tested against the published format specifications, such as the ISO 20022 schema for CAMT.053. Acceptance can differ per accounting package and version, so check your first import.
• Fair pricing. 2 free trial conversions (one-off, only successful ones count), no hidden costs, cancel any time.
