Born from practice

StatementBridge is a product of FIDURO B.V., an accounting and advisory firm based in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. FIDURO handles the financial administration for hundreds of businesses — from freelancers to mid-sized companies with international operations.

In our daily practice, we kept running into the same problem: bank statements that weren’t delivered in the right format. Credit card companies like AMEX and ICS deliver CSV files, PayPal exports in its own format, Stripe and Mollie have their own structure — and accounting software like Exact Online, Twinfield and AFAS only accept MT940 or CAMT.053.

Manually converting and importing these files cost us hours every week. Existing tools were too limited, too expensive or too complex. So we built our own internal tool.

From internal tool to SaaS

What started as a simple script grew into a full web application. Fellow bookkeepers and accountants asked if they could use it too. In 2025, we decided to make the tool available as a SaaS solution: StatementBridge.

Today, StatementBridge converts bank statements between 9 formats, supports AI extraction from PDF files, and is used by hundreds of bookkeepers and business owners in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

Our principles

• Privacy first. Files are encrypted and processed on EU servers (Frankfurt), then immediately deleted after conversion. We do not store transaction data.
• Simplicity. Upload, review, download. No complex configuration, no months-long implementation.
• Reliability. Our output is imported daily into Exact Online, Twinfield, AFAS, SnelStart, Moneybird and other packages by real bookkeepers.
