Article 1 — Definitions

  1. FIDURO: the private limited company FIDURO B.V., located at Stephensonweg 6, 4207 HB Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 78200695. Provider of the StatementBridge service.
  2. Service: the online application StatementBridge, available at statementbridge.nl, which allows users to convert bank statements and transaction files between various file formats.
  3. User: any legal entity, business or professional who uses the Service in the course of a profession or business, whether or not with a registered account.
  4. Account: the User's personal access environment within the Service.
  5. Pro subscription: the paid subscription that provides access to extended functionality.
  6. Data Processing Agreement: the StatementBridge data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms (Article 11).

Article 2 — Applicability

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the Service, including the creation of an Account and the use of both free and paid functionality.
  2. The Service is intended exclusively for business use. By using the Service, the User declares to be acting in the course of a profession or business and not as a consumer within the meaning of Dutch civil law.
  3. By using the Service, the User acknowledges having read and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
  4. FIDURO may amend these terms. Each version has a version number; the change log is at the bottom of this page. Substantive changes are announced through the Service and apply to existing Users 30 days after publication, or earlier once the User accepts the new version in the Service. Before a new export, the Service asks the User to accept the version then in force.

Article 3 — The Service

  1. StatementBridge is a tool for converting file formats of bank statements and transaction overviews. The Service supports, among others, MT940, CAMT.053, CAMT.054, CSV, Excel, OFX, CODA, DATEV and PDF.
  2. The Service is expressly not an accounting service, financial advisory service or auditing service. FIDURO does not provide advice on the content or accuracy of converted files.
  3. FIDURO strives for the highest possible availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability (no SLA).
  4. The Service generates output based on the input provided by the User. FIDURO does not guarantee that the output is suitable for import into specific accounting software or that the output is free of errors. A statement that does not reconcile (opening balance plus movements is not the closing balance) is refused and not exported.

Article 4 — Account and access

  1. Files can be uploaded and previewed without an Account. Generating and downloading files requires an Account with a confirmed email address. Extended functionality additionally requires a Starter or Pro subscription or the purchase of one-off credits.
  2. The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under their Account.
  3. FIDURO reserves the right to block or delete Accounts in the event of suspected misuse.

Article 5 — Free plan and Pro subscription

  1. Free plan: 2 free trial conversions (one-off, only successful ones count toward the limit), unlimited transactions per file.
  2. Starter subscription: €9.00 per month or €89.00 per year (excluding VAT). 10 conversions per month, unlimited transactions, all formats.
  3. Pro subscription: €25.00 per month or €249.00 per year (excluding VAT). 50 conversions per month, unlimited transactions, AI PDF extraction: 10 AI scans per calendar month via the AI scan of Article 6 included (unused scans lapse at the end of the month), beyond that with credits, or unlimited with your own API key.
  4. Single conversion: €2.95 per conversion (excluding VAT). One-time payment via Stripe, no subscription required. Unlimited transactions per file.
  5. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Payment is possible by credit card or iDEAL.
  6. Cancellation is possible at any time through the customer portal. After cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  7. The source file is deleted no later than 1 hour(s) after upload; if an interruption leaves it behind, automatic clean-up removes it, usually within 25 hours. Export files contain transaction data and can be downloaded for up to 24 hours; they are removed at the next clean-up after that. Conversion metadata and account details you save are retained. Files you e-mail to us yourself, for example with a support question, stay in our support mailbox until we delete them; please do not attach complete statements. Connections use HTTPS; the application and database run in Frankfurt. An AI scan sends the PDF content to the AI provider.
  8. Every upload receives a server-issued upload ID. A successful export of the same file with the same amounts, dates and debit/credit markers can be exported again free of charge within 24 hours; if those data changed, the Service asks for confirmation and the export counts as a new conversion.

Article 6 — AI PDF extraction

  1. Text PDFs are first processed without AI. If that is not reliable, the User can choose AI extraction; AI only starts after confirmation.
  2. Credit-based AI scan: before the scan the Service shows the number of credits it costs and asks for confirmation. The credits are deducted at the start and refunded automatically if extraction fails (at the latest within 24 hours); if a malfunction prevents this, FIDURO restores them after notification. The same PDF can be re-scanned free of charge up to 2 times within 24 hours if the result was lost. This scan uses Mistral AI as FIDURO's sub-processor. For the Pro subscription the first 10 AI scans per calendar month are included in the subscription (Article 5.3); before the scan the Service shows whether it falls within that allowance or costs credits.
  3. Own API key (Pro): the User can use their own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral or xAI key. Processing by that provider is governed by the agreement between the User and that provider; the User pays the provider directly.
  4. AI extraction sends text or page images from the PDF, including any personal data, to the provider concerned. AI extraction supports up to 50 pages per file. Exporting the result counts separately as a conversion.
  5. AI results may contain errors; the User checks all extracted transactions before use.

Article 7 — User responsibility

  1. The User is at all times solely responsible for:
    • the accuracy of the data entered;
    • verifying converted files before importing them into accounting software;
    • complying with applicable laws and regulations when using the converted files.
  2. The User warrants that they are authorised to upload and convert the files submitted.

Article 8 — Liability

  1. StatementBridge is solely a tool for converting file formats. FIDURO is not liable for any errors in the converted files.
  2. FIDURO is not liable for:
    • errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the converted output;
    • damage resulting from importing converted files into accounting software;
    • damage resulting from incorrect tax returns, bookkeeping or administration based on converted files;
    • inaccuracies in AI-extracted transactions;
    • unavailability or disruptions of the Service;
    • acts or failures of third parties, such as hosting, network, payment, email and AI providers (including Render, Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, Mistral AI and the AI provider chosen by the User).
  3. The User acknowledges that converted files may contain errors as a result of incomplete or ambiguous source data. The User is obliged to verify the output before use in financial administration.
  4. Should FIDURO nevertheless be held liable, liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount of subscription fees actually paid by the User in the preceding 12 months. For users of the free plan, any liability of FIDURO is excluded.
  5. Claims for damages shall lapse if not reported to FIDURO in writing within 3 months of discovery.
  6. A conversion only counts as used once the export file has been generated successfully; a failed export does not use a conversion. Article 6.2 applies to AI scans. If a conversion or credit has been used incorrectly because of a technical error, FIDURO will restore it after notification at statementbridge@fiduro.nl.

Article 9 — Use by professionals

  1. Accountants, bookkeepers and other financial professionals who use the Service on behalf of their clients do so entirely at their own responsibility.
  2. FIDURO is not liable for damage resulting from the professional use of converted files, including but not limited to incorrect tax returns, annual accounts or other financial reports.
  3. The professional is responsible for informing their clients about the use of automated conversion tools.

Article 10 — Intellectual property

  1. All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, design and documentation, are vested in FIDURO.
  2. The User retains all rights to the files they upload and to the converted files.

Article 11 — Privacy and data processing agreement

  1. FIDURO processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
  2. For personal data that FIDURO processes on the User's behalf when the Service is used (such as transaction data in uploaded files), the Data Processing Agreement applies; it forms part of these terms and is accepted together with them.

Article 12 — Termination

  1. The User may delete their Account at any time through the account settings, after re-authentication: with their password or, for Users who never set a password, via a fresh login link the Service emails them; deletion can also be requested at statementbridge@fiduro.nl. An active subscription is stopped immediately. FIDURO then deletes the account data, profiles, address book, feedback, upload identifiers, the credit ledger and the record of accepted terms. Conversion metadata is unlinked from the Account and kept for statistics without settings, error details or file fingerprint. Export files that have not yet expired are deleted within the period stated in the Privacy Policy. Data that FIDURO must retain by law (such as invoices and payment records) and copies in backups and logs remain until their retention period ends.
  2. FIDURO reserves the right to discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) with 30 days' notice. In such case, subscription fees already paid will be refunded on a pro rata basis.

Article 13 — Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms and Conditions and the use of the Service are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands, regardless of the User's place of residence or establishment.
  2. Disputes shall preferably be resolved by mutual consultation. If this is not possible, disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the district of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
