Terms and Conditions

Article 1 — Definitions

  1. FIDURO: the private limited company FIDURO B.V., located at Stephensonweg 6, 4207 HB Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 78200695. Provider of the StatementBridge service.
  2. Service: the online application StatementBridge, available at statementbridge.nl, which allows users to convert bank statements and transaction files between various file formats.
  3. User: any legal entity, business or professional who uses the Service in the course of a profession or business, whether or not with a registered account.
  4. Account: the User's personal access environment within the Service.
  5. Pro subscription: the paid subscription that provides access to extended functionality.

Article 2 — Applicability

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the Service, including the creation of an Account and the use of both free and paid functionality.
  2. The Service is intended exclusively for business use. By using the Service, the User declares to be acting in the course of a profession or business and not as a consumer within the meaning of Dutch civil law.
  3. By using the Service, the User acknowledges having read and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
  4. FIDURO reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be communicated through the Service and will take effect 30 days after publication.

Article 3 — The Service

  1. StatementBridge is a tool for converting file formats of bank statements and transaction overviews. The Service supports, among others, MT940, CAMT.053, CAMT.054, CSV, Excel, OFX, CODA, DATEV and PDF.
  2. The Service is expressly not an accounting service, financial advisory service or auditing service. FIDURO does not provide advice on the content or accuracy of converted files.
  3. FIDURO strives for the highest possible availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability (no SLA).
  4. The Service generates output based on the input provided by the User. FIDURO does not guarantee that the output is suitable for import into specific accounting software or that the output is free of errors.

Article 4 — Account and access

  1. The Service may be used without an Account (limited to the free plan). Extended functionality requires registration and, where applicable, a Pro subscription.
  2. The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under their Account.
  3. FIDURO reserves the right to block or delete Accounts in the event of suspected misuse.

Article 5 — Free plan and Pro subscription

  1. Free plan: 3 conversions per month, maximum 25 transactions per file.
  2. Pro subscription: €25.00 per month or €249.00 per year (excluding VAT). Unlimited conversions, unlimited transactions, AI PDF extraction (with your own API key).
  3. The Pro subscription is billed monthly via Stripe. Payment is possible by credit card or iDEAL.
  4. Cancellation is possible at any time through the customer portal. After cancellation, the Pro subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Article 6 — AI PDF extraction

  1. The optional AI PDF extraction feature uses external service providers (Anthropic or OpenAI) to recognise transactions from PDF files.
  2. Use of this feature requires your own API key from the relevant provider. The costs of API usage are borne by the User.
  3. When using AI extraction, the contents of the PDF file are sent to servers of Anthropic or OpenAI in the United States.
  4. The accuracy of AI extraction is not guaranteed. The User must manually verify all extracted transactions before importing them into accounting software.

Article 7 — User responsibility

  1. The User is at all times solely responsible for:
    • the accuracy of the data entered;
    • verifying converted files before importing them into accounting software;
    • complying with applicable laws and regulations when using the converted files.
  2. The User warrants that they are authorised to upload and convert the files submitted.

Article 8 — Liability

  1. StatementBridge is solely a tool for converting file formats. FIDURO is not liable for any errors in the converted files.
  2. FIDURO is not liable for:
    • errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the converted output;
    • damage resulting from importing converted files into accounting software;
    • damage resulting from incorrect tax returns, bookkeeping or administration based on converted files;
    • inaccuracies in AI-extracted transactions;
    • unavailability or disruptions of the Service;
    • acts of third parties (Stripe, Anthropic, OpenAI).
  3. The User acknowledges that converted files may contain errors as a result of incomplete or ambiguous source data. The User is obliged to verify the output before use in financial administration.
  4. Should FIDURO nevertheless be held liable, liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount of subscription fees actually paid by the User in the preceding 12 months. For users of the free plan, any liability of FIDURO is excluded.
  5. Claims for damages shall lapse if not reported to FIDURO in writing within 3 months of discovery.

Article 9 — Use by professionals

  1. Accountants, bookkeepers and other financial professionals who use the Service on behalf of their clients do so entirely at their own responsibility.
  2. FIDURO is not liable for damage resulting from the professional use of converted files, including but not limited to incorrect tax returns, annual accounts or other financial reports.
  3. The professional is responsible for informing their clients about the use of automated conversion tools.

Article 10 — Intellectual property

  1. All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, design and documentation, are vested in FIDURO.
  2. The User retains all rights to the files they upload and to the converted files.

Article 11 — Privacy

  1. FIDURO processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Article 12 — Termination

  1. The User may delete their Account at any time through the account settings in the application. Upon deletion, all personal data and files are permanently removed.
  2. FIDURO reserves the right to discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) with 30 days' notice. In such case, subscription fees already paid will be refunded on a pro rata basis.

Article 13 — Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms and Conditions and the use of the Service are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands, regardless of the User's place of residence or establishment.
  2. Disputes shall preferably be resolved by mutual consultation. If this is not possible, disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the district of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
