The problem

Not all bank statements are available as a digital file. Sometimes you only receive a PDF — for example from a foreign bank, a credit card company, or from a client who no longer has the original file.

A PDF contains no structured data. Your accounting software cannot process it. Manually retyping it is time-consuming, error-prone and unnecessary.

The solution: AI extraction

StatementBridge uses advanced AI models (Claude by Anthropic or GPT by OpenAI) to recognise transactions in your PDF. Scanned documents are also supported via image recognition.

AI PDF extraction is available for Pro users (€25/month excl. VAT). The Free plan supports standard format conversions.

Your own API key

You configure your own API key from OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude). AI costs (approx. €0.01–0.10 per PDF) are charged to your own account.

Important: data processing

When using AI PDF extraction, the contents of your PDF file are sent to external service providers (Anthropic or OpenAI) for processing. These service providers are based in the United States. The accuracy of AI extraction is not guaranteed — always manually verify all extracted transactions before importing them. Read our privacy policy for more information.
