RegioBank belongs to de Volksbank together with SNS and ASN. For your accounting you need a file that your accounting package accepts. Important: de Volksbank has switched to CAMT.053 for customer statements. In this guide you will learn how to export and what to do if your package still expects MT940.

MT940 has been discontinued at RegioBank

De Volksbank — and with it RegioBank, SNS and ASN — has stopped offering MT940 for downloading customer statements. The available structured format is now CAMT.053. Does your accounting package still expect an MT940 file? Then you can easily convert the CAMT.053 or CSV export with StatementBridge.

Which formats does RegioBank offer?

• CAMT.053 — the ISO 20022 format for accounting (often delivered as a ZIP).
• CSV — easy to open in Excel.
• PDF — for archiving and review.

Download a bank statement via Mijn RegioBank

The download function is in the web environment. The on-screen wording may vary slightly.

1. Log in to Mijn RegioBank (business or personal) via the website.
2. Go to Manage yourself and then Accounts.
3. Choose Download credits and debits and select the account.
4. Choose the desired period and the format CAMT.053 (or CSV/PDF).
5. Download the file. Does it arrive as a ZIP? Unpack it first before importing or converting.

Points to note for RegioBank statements

• CAMT.053 instead of MT940. MT940 is no longer available; use CAMT.053 or convert.
• Unpack the ZIP. The export often arrives compressed; unpack it first.
